Alexis de Bretteville is Morgan Philips Group’s Deputy CEO.
Prior to joining Morgan Philips Group, Alexis was Hudson’s Chief Executive Officer of Europe, responsible for the management and operational leadership of the company’s European business.
He also enjoyed a highly successful career for more than 20 years at Michael Page, where, most recently, he served as the Managing Director of the company’s Americas region, significantly expanding the business during his five years in that role, and as a member of its global Executive Board.
After spending four years helping to grow the company’s French operations into the market leader, Alexis served as Managing Director of Michael Page Spain, Portugal and South America, and then as Regional Managing Director of Central and Northern Europe. In that role he drove substantial revenue growth and spearheaded a significant operational turnaround in Germany before being promoted to Americas Regional Managing Director in 2006.
Prior to Michael Page, Alexis worked at Bourdais (CBRE) in Paris. He graduated from the European Business School (Paris, London, Madrid). He is a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur). He is a French citizen and author of numerous publications on recruitment.
Jean François runs Morgan Philips Banking & City globally out of Paris and London. He provides HR/Strategic Advice as well as Recruitment and Carreer Management assistance to organizations and decision makers based in the EMEA Region. His professional experience includes 18 years of successful track-record in handling international executive search assignments. He has dealt with searches in over 15 countries and executed numerous "C” level mandates (CEO/COO/CFO/CAO/CRO/CIO/Sales/Marketing/Communications/Tax, Legal & Compliance/Human Resources/Controlling/Risk Management/ALM/Finance/M&A/Corporate Development) in a variety of economic sectors majoring in Financial Services, Asset & Wealth Management, Private Banking & Private Equity.
Jean-François started his career In Banking & Asset Management and moved to Executive Search in London with the City based boutique ARMSTRONG International. Since then, he has held several practice and geographic management positions with Global Executive Search firms. Jean-François has lived and worked in the UK , France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and South America. He holds a Graduate Degree in Political Science from SCIENCES PO (Strasbourg) and a Masters Degree from the LONDON SCHOOL of ECONOMICS.
